Crisis Management for Power Outage Gives Idea

MS Aerospace experienced a power outage during one of Los Angeles County’s rain storms. Obviously, any outage is disruptive to manufacturing and can upset scheduling.
As a result of MSA crisis planning and experience, our back up power successfully allowed for shut down and start up procedures to work flawlessly.
As a part of continuous improvement, following the conclusion of the outage, relevant personnel at MSA debriefed and brainstormed about the event and what might be done to help minimize any adverse impact of future outage events.
Following the debriefing, MS Aerospace is now investigating installing solar energy to store power for use as reserve and back up to stabilize future power requirements.
