In support of this policy, we are committed to continually improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our processes and of our Quality Management System and to ensure an adequate framework for the establishment and review of the Quality Objectives.
Supplier Quality Assurance Requrements (REF MSAW 7.4.4 APPENDIX I)
Scope
This document establishes requirements for MS Aerospace, Inc. (MSA) Approved Supplier Quality Management System. The requirements herein pertain to tasks necessary to substantiate production and process conformance to drawings, specifications, contract and purchase order requirements. Requirements herein are in addition to those tasks set forth in any other contractual document.
Applicable Documents
The supplier is responsible to furnish articles that meet or exceed all requirements of the contract, purchase order and/or relevant specification(s). The following documents of the exact issue shown, unless modified by the contract or purchase order, form a part of this specification to the extent specified herein.

REQUIREMENTS
Supplier Responsibility
The supplier shall establish and maintain a Quality System that meets or exceeds the requirements of: ISO 9001 / AS9100. Note: (MIL-STD-45208, MIL-Q-9858 may be accepted, under certain circumstances). Quality System approval by an RAB Accredited Third Party Auditing Source is required. Special Process and material test facilities shall be PRI / Nadcap/ISO IEC 17025 accredited, accordingly.
Non-Conformance and Corrective Action
Supplier response to an NCR or SCAR shall be completed within (30) working days, unless otherwise specified.
Process Controls
Suppliers shall flow-down to sub-tier suppliers, the applicable requirements in the purchasing documents, including key characteristics, where required.
Right of Access - Source Surveillance
MS Aerospace and their customers, including the FAA and any other regulatory authorities, shall reserve the right to conduct inspection and/or surveillance of the supplier system, procedures, and products in all facilities involved in the order. The government has the right to inspect any or all of the work included in this order at the supplier’s facility.
Certifications
Certificates of Compliance (C of C’s) are required. C of C’s shall clearly attest that the product complies with drawings and/or specifications imposed by the purchase order/ contract, and shall reference any/all applicable requirements of the specifications. The C of C shall be attached to the packing slip, and must accompany each shipment.
Chemical and/or Physical Test Reports/First Article/Dimensional Data Sheet
When required by the applicable specification, each shipment shall be accompanied by legible and reproducible copies of all chemical and/or physical test reports. When required by the applicable specification, a First Article Inspection Report, or Dimensional Data Sheet identifiable with the supplies furnished shall accompany each shipment.
Preparation for Shipment
The Supplier shall ensure all product shipped is protected, preserved and packaged in accordance with best commercial practice to preclude any damage such as (but not limited to) nicks, dings, scratches, dents, etc.
Age Control & Life Limited Products
Age control & life limited products shall be identified with the date of manufacture, test time or cycle at which useful life will be expended. Products supplied to MS Aerospace shall have a minimum of 75% of its life expectancy remaining.
