In July, representatives of GE Aircraft Engines for global sourcing visited MS Aerospace. One of the purposes of the visit was to validate the capacity of MS Aerospace to incorporate a material increase in procurement requirements for GE Aircraft Engines starting in 2012.

Forecasts for MS Aerospace regarding the procurement trends for aerospace fasteners have consistently indicated growth commencing 2nd quarter 2011 and continuing through 2013 at a minimum. Consequently, since 2009 MS Aerospace has been planning and preparing for increased procurement requirements.

Among other things, MS Aerospace has been consistently adding capacity by adding capital equipment. Also, MS Aerospace has been adding skilled personnel and engineering personnel over the last two years in anticipation of the increased requirements of the aerospace industry.

The GE representatives were very satisfied with the capacity of MSA to produce the increased GE requirements.
