Every Monday during the month of September 2008, Dr. Bill Bellows of Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne has been providing a lecture series on Taguchi Methods and Design of Experiements for members of MSA that have completed Enterprise Thinking.
The seminar series provides an overview of the methodology for the conduct of experiments from the DOE and Taguchi perspectives. Design of Experiments is a method to determine best ways to manufacture from a tolerance perspective, while the Taguchi method experiments with the target in mind.
During the course Dr. Bellows has incorporated Enterprise Thinking to generate perspective for these methodologies, and to encourage creative thinking.
